David Choi

David Choi is a financial professional with extensive experience in asset management and macroeconomic investment strategies. Currently serving as the Director of Options and Portfolio Construction for Asset Allocation at AustralianSuper since 2022, David previously held the role of Head of Australian Macro at Aberdeen Standard Investments from 2011 to 2021, where responsibilities included leading the Macro team and overseeing performance of interest rate, inflation, and currency alpha strategies. David's earlier roles at Aberdeen included Senior Investment Manager and Investment Manager, focusing on interest rates and inflation strategies. Prior to joining Aberdeen, David worked as Portfolio Dealer at New South Wales Treasury Corporation, managing liquidity risk and optimizing portfolio performance. David holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Law and Finance from UNSW.
