Shane Kelly

Shane Kelly is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment operations and market management. Currently serving as the Acting Chief Financial Officer and Head of Investment Operations at AustralianSuper since July 2022, Shane has held significant roles at Commonwealth Bank from 2016 to 2022, including General Manager Market Operations and Market Operations COO. Previous positions include leadership at J.P. Morgan, where Shane oversaw Fund Services Operations for Asia Pacific and Fund Accounting in Australia and New Zealand, as well as roles at UBS Investment Bank and KPMG in Ireland. Shane's educational background includes becoming a Chartered Accountant in Ireland and earning a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Microbiology from University College Dublin.
