Karin Stattmann

Karin Stattmann currently serves as the Head of Sales at Austria Center Vienna, overseeing the promotion of the venue for international association congresses since September 2013. With prior roles as an International Sales Manager, Karin has developed expertise in lead generation, contract negotiation, and relationship building within the international meetings industry. In addition to this role, Karin is an active Steering Committee Member at XL Workshops and a Committee Member for Leading Centres of Europe, focusing on enhancing partnerships among major European venues. Earlier experience includes a position as a Marketing Assistant at the Vienna Convention Bureau, where responsibilities included marketing and bidding for international congresses, as well as coordinating site inspections. Karin holds a degree in Tourism and Leisure Management from IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences.
