Christian Chimani is the Head of Center for Low-Emission Transport and Managing Director of LKR at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology. Previously, Christian was Chair of the Programme Committee at Transport Research Arena (TRA).

Christian earned his Ph.D. in Institute of Light Weight Structures and Aerospace Engineering from Technische Universität Wien in 1998.
