Franklin Fite has over 40 years of experience in the technology industry. Franklin began their career in 1980 as an intern at Battelle, then moved to AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1981 as a MTS/Supervisor, where they developed, wrote, and evangelized best practices in software development and consulted with over a dozen large software projects. In 1992, they were recruited by Microsoft as the General Manager of Windows CE, where they founded a team to develop and launch Microsoft’s first-ever non-PC operating system, grew the team to 500+ employees, and achieved hundreds of millions in sales. In 2000, they were recruited by Nimble Technology as their President and CTO, where they established a full operating company and product development structure for a new-to-market enterprise software. In 2002, they were appointed by Microsoft and the Federal Court as one of three computer science experts to oversee the world’s largest technology anti-trust case, where they served as COO and was hailed by the Federal Court as instrumental to the successful end of the case in 2011. In 2012, they were promoted to General Manager and CTO for Sesame Communications, a leading healthcare patient engagement SaaS company, where they led all aspects of the company and was responsible for its P&L. In 2018, they joined Henry Schein One as Vice President and Strategic Advisor and Chief Technology Officer, where they were responsible for all software development, corporate IT, and cybersecurity. In 2022, they began their current role as Chief Technology Officer at AuthenticID.

Franklin Fite obtained their Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Stanford University in 1982, following their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Vanderbilt University in 1981.
