Pratik Dhakal

Pratik Dhakal, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and chemical engineering. Pratik started their career as a Process Engineer Intern at Shandong Weijiao CO LTD in 2015, where they designed separation columns and performed calculations related to heat and mass transfer.

In 2017, Pratik joined Miami University as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. During their time there, they focused on chemical process design and published seven peer-reviewed articles in high-impact chemical engineering journals. Their research primarily concentrated on organic molecules, new solvents such as ionic liquids, pharmaceutical compounds, and solids.

In 2019, they joined Oklahoma State University as a Research Assistant, where they continued their work in chemical engineering until 2022.

From 2021 to 2021, Pratik was a Product Research Intern at PAC - Petroleum Analyzer Company, where they gained experience in product research.

Most recently, in 2022, Pratik joined DuPont as a Data Scientist, contributing their skills and expertise in the field.

In 2023, Pratik became a Senior Data Scientist at Authentix.

Pratik Dhakal, PhD, has an impressive educational background in Chemical Engineering. Pratik began their academic journey in 2012 at Shandong University of Science and Technology where they earned their Bachelor's Degree, graduating in 2016. Building on this foundation, Pratik pursued their Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Miami University between 2016 and 2018.

Continuing to expand their expertise, Pratik went on to enroll in a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD program at Oklahoma State University in 2019. Their research in Chemical Engineering at this institution spanned from 2019 to 2021, ultimately leading to the completion of their PhD.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Pratik has also pursued professional certifications to complement their educational qualifications. Pratik obtained the certifications of Scrum Master from Mountain Goat Software and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance in June 2023. Pratik also holds a certification in Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft.
