Liaoyuan Wang

Liaoyuan Wang currently holds the position of Senior Data Scientist at TD since April 2025. Previously, Liaoyuan served as a Data Scientist at ElectrifAi from January 2023 to July 2024, where data-driven solutions were engineered across various industries, and churn prediction models were developed to significantly reduce client attrition rates. At Techlent, from December 2021 to December 2022, Liaoyuan optimized a hybrid recommendation model and led user behavior analyses to enhance customer interactions. Earlier experience at Alfred University, from March 2015 to April 2020, involved applying machine learning and big data techniques in materials science research, contributing to quality control improvements. Liaoyuan holds a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, along with advanced training in machine learning and data science from Udacity, and holds a Master's degree in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Management from the University of Science and Technology of China.
