Bob Bailey

Bob Bailey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Bob started their career in 1999 at Unicorn InterGlobal Ltd as a Dataflex Project Leader, where they managed a project team, developed software, provided training and consultancy services, and represented the company at trade shows. Bob continued their association with Unicorn as a contractor until 2005 when they migrated to New Zealand.

In 2000, Bob joined Faitec Limited as a Director until 2005.

From 2005 to 2015, they worked at MUSAC Ltd as a Software Developer, where they played a crucial role in developing and maintaining a suite of education software used in schools throughout New Zealand. Bob had expertise in languages and technologies such as C#, SQL Server, Jet, VB6, and worked on both desktop and web applications.

Since 2015, Bob has been with Author-it, initially starting as a Software Engineer and later transitioning to the role of Technical Product Owner. In their current position, they are involved in the development of an AWS-based document management system using open-source software like Node.js and Docker. Bob has worked across the full stack and contributes to the team's success.

Bob Bailey obtained a Higher National Certificate in Electronics from Bath College, in the years 1988 to 1990. Bob later pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Massey University, completing it from 2012 to 2015.
