Today, there are virtually no sustainable housing options for individuals with autism when they become adults. They simply "age out"​ of the system. Recognizing the significant shortage of homes where adults with autism can live, a group of dedicated individuals has united to help fulfill this critical need by establishing Autism Communities, a privately-controlled and funded 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. 

The mission of Autism Communities is to provide adults with autism a home in a vibrant, nurturing community-type setting. Further, it is the organization's goal that each resident can enjoy a fulfilling, healthy lifestyle in a safe environment while having access to social, recreational, educational and employment opportunities. Our first residents moved into their new home in Fall 2020.
