Debra MacKenzie

Debra MacKenzie is the Director of Operations at Autism Communities since September 2023. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Resource Development at United Way of Long Island from April 2023 to September 2023. Debra also worked at Canine Companions for Independence, where she held the positions of Senior Director of Development and Director of Philanthropy from April 2006 to September 2023. Before her time at Canine Companions, she was an Event Coordinator at JP Morgan Chase from December 1992 to February 2004. In her current role at Autism Communities, Debra supervises leadership and major gift donors, as well as conducts research on prospective donors and sponsors.
