Saran Cartwright

Saran Cartwright has extensive experience in health and safety. They currently hold the position of Head of Health and Safety at Autism Initiatives since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the UK Head of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality at Arcadis until February 2022. From 2007 to 2015, Saran held various roles at EC Harris LLP, including UK Regional SHE Manager and Senior Health and Safety Consultant. They also worked as an HM Inspector of Factories at the Health and Safety Executive from 1993 to 1997. Saran's work experience began in 1990 as a Research Assistant at Liverpool John Moores University.

Saran Cartwright obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Ergonomics, with a focus on the effect of pregnancy on lifting/manual handling performance, from Liverpool John Moores University. This academic journey took place from 1990 to 1997. Additionally, Saran pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Safety at Aston University, spanning from 1993 to 1995.
