Linda J. Walder is the Founder and Executive Director of The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation, established in January 2002 as the first nonprofit organization in the United States focusing exclusively on adult Autism. Through this initiative, Linda has championed the recognition of Autism as a lifelong condition, advocating for the individual rights and value of the diverse adult Autism population. Linda serves on the Panel of Professional Advisors for the Autism Society of America and is an Editorial Board Member for Autism Spectrum News. Past roles include serving as the Retired Commissioner for National and Community Service in New Jersey and a Board Member for Autism New Jersey. Linda holds an AB in Art History and American Studies from Vassar College, as well as degrees from The London School of Economics and Political Science, Harvard University, and a Doctor of Law (JD) from Cardozo School of Law.
