Lucia Murillo Chacko, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Lucia is currently serving as the Associate Director of Clinical Services and Inclusion at Autism Speaks, where they manage dissemination efforts for community-based best practices and supports advocacy through the Advocacy Leadership Network. Previously, Lucia worked as the Associate Director of Community Engagement at Unite Genomics, where they led the development and implementation of the company's community advocacy and engagement strategy. Lucia also served as a Board Member at Ability Revolution Inc., supporting efforts to advance authentic inclusion in workplaces, schools, and communities. Lucia has worked as a Consultant at RTI International and held various roles at Stanford University, Felton Institute, Autism Speaks, Rebekah Children's Services, Kaiser Permanente, and Via Services, contributing to research, curriculum development, program management, and early childhood education.
Lucia Murillo Chacko, Ed.D. received their EdD in Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their MA in Special Education at San Francisco State University from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained an Education Specialist Credential in Early Childhood Special Education from the State of California in 2007.
