Michal Shafir Nir

Michal Shafir Nir has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2005, they served as a sargent in the Israeli Intelligence Corps, specifically Unit 8200. Michal then went on to work as a Software Developer and Analyst at Elad Systems from 2007 to 2008. In 2012, they joined Polycom as a DSP Algorithm Engineer, where they developed and deployed real-time audio/video/RTP algorithms. After that, they worked at Fusic as a Senior audio and video engineer for nine months before joining fuse.ar in 2017. At fuse.ar, they held various roles including VP R&D and site manager and later Chief Technology Officer, where they managed the R&D team and was responsible for the company's IP and fundraising. Lastly, they are currently the Director of Technology at Autobrains Technologies since 2022.

Michal Shafir Nir pursued their bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Michal attended the institute from 2009 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.). After a professional gap, they enrolled at Tel Aviv University in 2020 to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Their education journey is currently ongoing at Tel Aviv University, and they are expected to complete their degree in the near future.
