Houssam Abdel-Aziz

Houssam Abdel-Aziz has extensive experience in executive and advisory roles in various companies and organizations. Houssam is currently the Chief Executive Officer at AUTOCOOL AC & Refrigeration Solutions, a position they have held since 2003. Additionally, they serve as a Non-Executive Board Member at Metrological Industries Holding and the Egyptian Financial & Industrial Company for Fertilizers since 2018.

Houssam has also held positions such as Board Member at East Port Said Development since 2020 and Non-Executive Board Member at IDG-Industrial Development Group starting in 2022. Houssam is scheduled to join the Supreme Automotive Industry Council of Egypt as a Member in 2023, and will also serve as a Board Member at The Environmentally Friendly Vehicles Manufacturing Fund and the Chamber of Engineering Industries - Federation of Egyptian Industries.

In terms of government roles, Houssam has served as an Advisor to the Prime Minister for Industrial Modernization at The Egyptian Cabinet of Ministers from 2019 to 2021. Houssam was also the Advisor to the Minister of Trade & Industry for Engineering Industries at the Ministry of Trade & Industry from 2018 to 2019.

Houssam Abdel-Aziz attended the University of Liverpool from an unspecified start year until 2001, where they earned their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Manufacturing Engineering & Industrial Management. Houssam also obtained a Diploma in Corporate Finance from The American University in Cairo, and participated in the Executive Management Program at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
