Aleksander Demko

Aleksander Demko is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in backend development and high-performance computing. Currently serving as a Principal Backend Developer at Autodesk since June 2023, Aleksander previously held the position of Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services from November 2018 to June 2023. Prior to that, Aleksander worked as a Senior Software Developer at VKGS LLC dba Video King from June 2012 to November 2018 and gained experience as a High Performance Computing Specialist at the University of Manitoba from December 2011 to June 2012. Aleksander's career began at the National Research Council Canada, where a role as a Senior Software Developer was held from 2000 to December 2011. Aleksander holds a PhD and a Bachelor of Computer Science degree, both from the University of Manitoba.
