Ava Sheikhi Shoshtari

Ava Sheikhi Shoshtari is a seasoned professional in the fields of applied machine learning and data science, currently serving as the Manager of Applied Machine Learning & Data Science at Autodesk since January 2024. Concurrently, Ava has been a Data Science Instructor/Mentor at Great Learning since October 2020, providing education and guidance in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to over 20 business professionals. Previous roles include Data Science Manager at Staples and PNI Digital Media Ltd, and Data Science & Product Lead at BuildDirect Technologies, where Ava successfully led teams and implemented significant data-driven solutions. Ava holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science from The University of British Columbia, where involvement included serving as President of the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Association.
