Philip Carls has extensive experience in pricing and strategy roles. Philip is currently serving as the Vice President of Pricing and Assortment at AUTODOC. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon as the Head of EU Pricing from 2018 to 2022. Before that, they held the position of Sr. Director of Pricing & Licensing at Symantec, where they led a global team and achieved a significant increase in bookings. Philip also has a strong background in pricing analytics and reporting, having worked as the Director of Strategic Pricing and Director of Performance Measurement at Walmart. Philip played a key role in creating pricing strategies, implementing testing processes, and developing analytics metrics. Earlier in their career, Philip worked as a Manager at American Express, where they conducted financial analysis and supervised a cross-functional team.

Philip Carls completed their BA in Economics from Northwestern University in the years 1997-2001. Philip later pursued an MA in Economics from the University of Michigan, studying from 2003-2005. In addition, they obtained a DEA in International Relations from HEI, which they pursued from 2000-2002.
