Akshat Chawla

Akshat Chawla has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1999 when they worked as a Software Specialist at the Library of Congress. In 2005, they were a Research Associate/Intern at Cisco, and in 2006, they were a Manager of Strategy & Ops Planning at Seagate Technology. From 2007 to 2015, they worked at SAP in various roles, including Director of Business Development (APJ Mobile Solutions), Director of Corporate Strategy Group, Director of GCO Business Services, Director of Global Program Management, and APJ PMO/PMI Lead. From 2015 to 2019, they were at Kony, Inc. as Regional Vice President - Head of Channels and Alliances (APJ & Middle East), Vice President (Sales) & General Manager (North Asia), and Regional Head of Customer Office & Account Management (APJ & Middle East). In 2019, they moved to Salesforce as Regional Head of FSM Alliances (APJ). In 2021, they became Managing Director and Head of Sales - Europe & APJ (SWVL Business) at Swvl, and in 2022, they are currently Vice President and General Manager (Asia Pacific Japan) at Autofleet.

Akshat Chawla has a diverse educational background. Akshat completed their High School at AFGJI in 1995-1995. Akshat then went on to pursue their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule (MJP) Rohilkhand University from 1995-1999. After that, they completed their MBA in Strategic Management at Nanyang Business School in 2004-2005. In 2007, they completed a Six Sigma Brown Belt in Six Sigma & Lean at Seagate Technology.
