Alper Güner

Alper Güner is a highly experienced professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as Team Leader Technical Product Management and Technical Product Manager for Hotforming Solutions at AutoForm Group since December 2015. With expertise in hot stamping, direct and indirect press hardening, and thermo-mechanical analysis of sheet metal forming applications, Alper also contributes as an Expert Group Reviewer for the German Federation of Industrial Research Associations - AiF. Alper's previous experience includes heading the sheet metal forming group and working as a research assistant at the Institute of Forming Technology and Lightweight Construction - TU Dortmund from 2007 to 2015. Alper holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from TU Dortmund University, along with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
