Ganesh Prasad

Ganesh Prasad is a seasoned Senior Lead Engineer at Autoliv, with extensive experience in airbag simulations and safety model creation since July 2011. Key projects include cover opening simulations for various airbag types, model correlation with component testing, and occupant safety system modeling. Prior to Autoliv, Ganesh worked as a Project Trainee at Altair India Pvt Ltd, focusing on the structural assessment and re-design of backhoe loader cabin structures for regulatory compliance. Additional experience includes roles as Lead Engineer at MIND Resources, where design work was performed for Mercedes-Benz, and as Design Engineer at EASI Technologies, concentrating on automotive components for General Motors and aerospace parts for a French client. Ganesh holds an MTech in Computer Aided Mechanical Design and Analysis from Manipal Institute of Technology and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from KVG College of Engineering.
