Leif Johansson is a Swedish business executive who has been the Director at Autoliv since November 2021.
Johansson began their career as an Application Engineer & Program Manager at TI Fluid Systems in January 2010, where they were responsible for global heavy duty High Pressure Diesel fuel lines. In this role, they also managed Volvo Cars' brake lines and development projects globally.
In October 2005, Johansson transitioned to Chrysler, where they became a Vehicle Dynamics Ride and Handling Engineer. In this role, they were jointly responsible for tuning all chassis tunable components including suspension (shocks, springs and bushes), sta bars, steering, wheels and tires for ride, handling and steering across the whole group of products.
From March 2001 to October 2005, Johansson worked as a Project Engineer - Test schedule development and test management at DaimlerChrysler. In this role, they were responsible for developing and managing test schedules for DaimlerChrysler vehicles.
Johansson has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry and has been a Director at Autoliv since November 2021.
Leif Johansson studied mechanical engineering with an automotive option at the University of Hertfordshire, earning a BEng (Hons) degree.
