Mohit Santilal

Mohit Santilal is a seasoned professional in the field of biotechnology and biochemical engineering, currently serving as the Downstream Process Development Vector Manager at Autolus Therapeutics since November 2023. With previous experience as a Senior Scientist II at Autolus, Mohit has led teams in downstream process development, specifically for lentiviruses and retroviruses used in cell therapy, and has acted as a subject matter expert for TFF and chromatography projects. Prior roles include Senior Scientist at Vaccitech, where leadership of a team focused on developing Adenovirus and Modified Vaccinia Virus platform processes took place, and Senior Scientist at GSK, managing downstream process development work packages. Early career experience includes positions at Oxford BioMedica as a Biotechnologist and at UCL as a Research Project Member. Mohit holds a Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Westminster.
