David Borton

David Borton, CTS-D, has a diverse work experience in the audiovisual industry. David started their career as a Stage Crew member at Pensacola Christian College in 2012. David then worked as an A/V Technician at Atlanta Soundworks Inc from 2011 to 2014, gaining experience in government, educational, commercial, and House of Worship A/V installations. David joined RPM A-V Services, Inc. in 2014, where they served as a Lead A/V Technician and later as a Project Engineer until 2017. David then worked as a System Designer at Whitlock from 2017 to 2019. Currently, David is a Senior A/V Design Engineer at Automated Systems Design, Inc., where they have recently been promoted to Lead Pre-sales Design Engineer in 2022.

David Borton attended Pensacola Christian College from 2012 to 2013, focusing on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. David obtained various certifications in the field, including the Certified Technology Specialist - Design from AVIXA in 2018 and the CTS certification from InfoComm International in 2014.
