Rob Shydo

Rob Shydo is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Sr. Systems Engineering Manager at Automated Tire, Inc. since August 2025. Alongside this role, Rob co-owns ExploringNH and conducts vehicle-based trainings, guided trips, and first aid instruction. Since August 2021, Rob has also worked as a trail guide for Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport models at Bronco Off-Roadeo. Prior positions include Sr. Systems Engineering Manager at Entegris, Director of Engineering at Cometeer, and Principal Engineering Manager at Emphysys, Inc. Rob's experience extends to consulting for small to mid-size companies and holding leadership positions in engineering at Desktop Metal and Amazon Robotics. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Automotive Design from Cornell University.
