Ke Xu is a highly experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in building energy analysis and system optimization. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at United Technologies' Climate, Controls & Security since July 2014, Ke Xu previously worked as a Research Associate and Building Energy Analyst at the Consortium for Building Energy Innovation from January 2013 to June 2014. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research/Teaching Assistant at The Penn State University from August 2009 to January 2013, where diverse responsibilities encompassed calibrating EnergyPlus models and teaching HVAC fundamentals. Ke Xu started as a Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from August 2006 to August 2009, performing energy audits and implementing HVAC control algorithms.
