Ke Xu is a highly experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in building energy analysis and system optimization. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at United Technologies' Climate, Controls & Security since July 2014, Ke Xu previously worked as a Research Associate and Building Energy Analyst at the Consortium for Building Energy Innovation from January 2013 to June 2014. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research/Teaching Assistant at The Penn State University from August 2009 to January 2013, where diverse responsibilities encompassed calibrating EnergyPlus models and teaching HVAC fundamentals. Ke Xu started as a Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from August 2006 to August 2009, performing energy audits and implementing HVAC control algorithms. Ke Xu holds a Master of Science in Data Science from Johns Hopkins University and a Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University, along with Master's degrees in Architectural Engineering from both the University of Nebraska at Omaha and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Bachelor’s degree in Building Mechanical Systems from Harbin Institute of Technology.
