Sumithra Kumar

Sumithra Kumar, CPA, currently serves as Tax Director at Dialpad since July 2021. Previously, Sumithra held the position of Associate Director of International Tax & Transfer Pricing at NTT DATA Services from June 2018 to July 2021 and served as Sr. Manager in the same field earlier in that company. Additional experience includes a role as Sr. Manager at Ribbon Communications from February 2012 to June 2018 and as Manager of Domestic Income Tax at Microsoft from August 2007 to December 2011. Early career roles include Tax Accountant at Costco Wholesale, Senior Tax Consultant positions at PwC and Grant Thornton LLP, and Senior Tax Analyst at Deloitte & Touche LLP. Sumithra holds a Masters in Tax from Golden Gate University and a Master of Science in Management from M.S. University, Baroda, India, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Economics, and Accounting from St. Francis College for Women.
