Adam Storm is an experienced project manager and senior controls engineer specializing in automation systems, currently working at Automation & Control Concepts since February 2018. Previously, Adam served as a senior process controls engineer at Forensic IT, where responsibilities included designing and programming control systems for the brewing industry, with notable projects involving brewhouse re-control and yeast recovery systems for major U.S. breweries. Techniques used include advanced algorithms, PIDs, IEC 1131, programming standards development, simulation, startup, and interfacing to MES databases. ACC has installedhundreds of controllers and developed countless pages of operating logic to control a variety of manufacturing processes and machines. This diverse cross-section of PLC brands and applications has taught ACC the importance of developing structured programming standards and flexible control code.
