Davi Pontes is an experienced professional with a diverse background in operations, education, and research. Currently serving as a Happiness Engineer at Automattic since 2017, Davi focuses on helping others achieve their aspirations within the WordPress.com community. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Operations at Tribe Medical Group, where Davi managed daily operations and developed new processes. Davi's expertise in asset and inventory management is highlighted through previous roles at Tribe Medical Group Inc., overseeing a significant amount of medical equipment distributed nationally. Davi's early career encompassed teaching ESL and biology, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Cellular Biology from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho.
