Joseph Korbel

Joseph Korbel currently serves as Team Lead and Technical Account Manager at Automattic since July 2022. Previously, Joseph held the role of Agile Practitioner at Optum from November 2021 to July 2022, where assistance was provided in the transition to Large Scale Scrum and project management was conducted for multiple teams and projects. As Software Developer and Scrum Master at Info-Pro Lender Services, Inc. from May 2020 to November 2021, Joseph facilitated Agile practices and implemented automation processes for Linux EC2 instances. Prior experience includes Software Engineer at TDS Telecommunications LLC, where Joseph developed and optimized systems while mentoring junior developers, and Program Manager and Cyber Warfare Engineer with the US Navy, focusing on Agile methodologies for Cyber National Mission Forces. Joseph holds an MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business (2021-2023) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, along with a minor in Naval Science and Operational Studies from Marquette University (2009-2013).
