Matt Mullenweg

Matt Mullenweg is the CEO on sabbatical of Automattic Inc., a company created to democratize publishing and commerce. Matt is the founder and president of WordPress, a popular open source blogging platform. Matt is also the principal of Audrey Capital, an angel investment and research company, with over 100 investments. Additionally, Matt serves as an independent director at Field Effect and as a board member at ecoAmerica, New Museum of Contemporary Art, and previously at Grist. Matt has a background in senior product management at CNET Networks and was educated at the University of Houston.
