Peter Rubin

Peter Rubin is an accomplished journalist and editor with extensive experience in digital and print media. Currently serving as the Head of Publishing at Automattic since July 2021, Peter previously held significant roles at WIRED, where work included positions as a Contributing Editor and Senior Editor from August 2011 to October 2022, focusing on the intersection of culture and technology, particularly in AR/VR and pop culture. Peter oversaw editorial strategy at Medium's LEVEL as Executive Editor from November 2019 to April 2021 and was an Executive Editor at Complex Media from November 2006 to July 2011. Early career achievements include freelance writing for notable publications and serving as a Staff Writer for GQ Magazine.
