Mehdi Elion

Mehdi Elion is a data scientist currently working at the Automotive Cells Company (ACC) since January 2023, focused on leveraging data to enhance operations within one of Europe's leading battery manufacturers. Prior to this role, Mehdi served as an R&D data scientist at FieldBox.ai from April 2019 to January 2023, where key contributions included developing machine learning models across various industries and deploying predictive models for operational challenges. Mehdi's expertise encompasses machine learning with imbalanced datasets, uncertainty estimation in deep learning, and model interpretability, complemented by a strong technical skill set including Python, TensorFlow, and OpenCV. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Data Science from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, and a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Centrale Lyon.
