Vivek Agarwal

Vivek Agarwal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Vivek is currently working as a Software Engineering Manager at Autonomic, where they lead a team of 7-9 engineers and ensures the smooth and secure operation of backend services. Vivek is also responsible for optimizing scalability to accommodate the growing number of vehicles and increasing traffic demands. Additionally, they oversee Autonomic's crypto services, which enable secure communication between vehicles and clouds.

Prior to their current role, Vivek worked at Aeris Communications as a Sr. Manager/Technical Lead from 2015 to 2022. Here, they played a key role in providing IoT/M2M solutions and was a valued supplier to tier one automotive OEMs in the Connected Car space.

Before Aeris Communications, Vivek worked at SEVEN Networks as a Director/Manager, Software Engineering from 2013 to 2015. Vivek was responsible for leading software engineering efforts.

Vivek also has experience at SNRLabs, where they served as an Engineering Manager R&D from 2010 to 2013. Vivek was involved in designing and developing device-based QoE software for multi-radio connectivity management and filed patents related to network QoE.

Prior to that, Vivek worked as a Staff/Senior System Engineer at SNRLabs from 2008 to 2010.

Vivek's early career includes roles at Texas Instruments through Sasken, where they served as a Lead Engineer from 2006 to 2008, a Senior Software Engineer from 2003 to 2006, and a Software Engineer from 2002 to 2003. Before that, they worked at EPFL as a Software Programmer/Teaching Assistant for a brief period in 2001.

Overall, Vivek Agarwal has gained extensive experience in software engineering, IoT/M2M solutions, and connectivity management throughout their career.

Vivek Agarwal completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 1997 to 2001. In 2001, they also participated in a student exchange program through IIT Delhi at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), where they focused on Mobile Communications.
