Yuval Aviel

Yuval Aviel began their work experience in 1992 as a Software Developer at Sirius Technologies. Yuval then worked at Mirage Innovations from 2005 to 2008 as a Senior Physicist and Human Factor Expert, where they led a team and managed projects related to color management and display technology. From 2008 to 2011, Yuval worked at Noam Value Investing as an Algorithmic Trader, conducting research in econo-physics and developing trading platforms and algorithms. In 2011, they were self-employed as an Entrepreneur, working on an innovative depression therapy project. Yuval also worked as a 3D Reconstruction Consultant at replay technologies from 2011 to 2012, where they utilized fixed cameras to reconstruct 3D objects for broadcasting purposes. Yuval then worked at Precede Technologies in 2012 as a Scientist in Residence, focusing on business development in machine learning. From 2012 to 2020, they held multiple roles at Mobileye, including Senior Technical Leader in REM, Algorithm Team Leader for an autonomous parking project, and Algorithms Developer. In their roles at Mobileye, Yuval was involved in various aspects of computer vision, optimization techniques, and machine learning algorithms. Since 2020, Yuval has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Autonomous Pivot, where the company aims to increase profitability for row-crop farmers and reduce resource usage in agriculture.

Yuval Aviel completed their education in a chronological order. From 1992 to 1995, they attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at the same institution and from 1996 to 2003, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience. After completing their PhD, they engaged in a postdoctoral program at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2003 to 2005, focusing on Neuroscience.
