Timothy Notton

VP, Engineering at Autonomous Therapeutics

Dr. Timothy Notton is Vice President of Engineering at Autonomous and is the co-inventor of Autonomous’ nucleic acid platforms and therapeutic candidates. Tim earned his Ph.D. in Bioengineering jointly from the University of California, San Francisco and the University of California, Berkeley—where he engineered first-in-class antivirals to combat HIV and Zika. At Autonomous, Tim has led the scientific team that invented multiple RNA, robotics and delivery platforms to enable the development of pan-variant therapeutics against any viral pathogen. For his work, Tim was named one of 50 early career scientists named a DARPA Riser at DARPA’s 60th Anniversary Conference.
