José Manuel Ramos Fernández

José Manuel Ramos Fernández currently serves as Jefe del Departamento de Innovación at Autoridad Portuaria de Alicante since March 2025. In parallel, José has been a Project Evaluator for the European Commission since January 2015, assessing the technical quality of H2020 research projects. Previously, José led the R&D Group in Defence, Applied Chemistry, and Energy at AITEX from 2013 to March 2025 and coordinated international research project participation, primarily in framework programs. José's early career includes positions as a Marie Curie Fellow at MAST Carbon International Ltd., a Post-Doctoral researcher at AIDICO, and several roles in academic institutions focused on the development of polymers and carbon materials. José holds a Chemistry degree from the University of Granada, completed between 1997 and 2002.
