Emmanuel Hamel is a data scientist with over a decade of experience in actuarial analysis, currently working at the Autorité des marchés financiers in Québec since April 2012. The roles include expert modeler and actuarial analyst, focusing on developing mathematical tools and software programs for actuarial reserve calculations in property and casualty insurance. Prior to this, Emmanuel held multiple research assistant positions at Université Laval, contributing to projects on renewal processes and medical malpractice under the mentorship of Ghislain Léveillé.
