Hanzo van Beusekom

Hanzo van Beusekom is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance, regulation, and governance. Currently serving as a Member of the Executive Board at Autoriteit Financiële Markten since June 2018, Hanzo previously held pivotal roles, including Chair of the Board of Supervisors and Member of the Supervisory Board at Oxfam Novib from January 2010 to November 2018. Hanzo's expertise in financial consumer protection was further developed as a Senior Financial Consumer Protection Expert at The World Bank from March 2016 to May 2018. Additionally, Hanzo contributed as a Partner at Clear Conduct and held positions as a Research Fellow at ANZSOG. Hanzo's earlier career includes significant roles at AFM and the Boston Consulting Group. Academically, Hanzo holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master's in Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
