Idan Livni began their work experience in 2006 as a Wireless Communication Engineer in the IDF. Idan then worked as an Algorithm Engineer at Ceragon Networks from 2013 to 2016 and at Raft Technologies from 2016 to 2017. From 2017 onwards, they joined Autotalks as an Algorithm Engineer, where they were involved in developing a modem for V2X communications based on various protocols. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing modem blocks, creating a simulation environment in Matlab, writing specifications for implementation in DSP and HW, conducting lab testing and debugging, and mentoring team members. Idan also worked on developing DFS radar detection using machine learning and researched ways to improve modem algorithmic blocks.
Idan Livni obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University in the years 2002 to 2006. Later on, from 2009 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
