Esperanza Sanchez currently serves as Vice President and a member of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Board at the Museum Educators of Southern California since July 2023. In addition, Esperanza has held the position of Associate Curator at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes since 2016, where responsibilities include developing exhibitions focused on local histories and collaborating with various partners. Experience also includes roles as Guest Curator at the Museum of Latin American Art, Events Coordinator at the Autry Museum of the American West, and involvement in educational initiatives as a Museum Teacher and Teaching Assistant. Esperanza holds a Master’s Degree in History with a focus on Public History and dual Bachelor’s Degrees in History and Sociology, all from California State University, Northridge.
