James Engelhart has over 30 years of work experience in various engineering roles. James is currently the Head of PreSales Engineering, Professional Services, and Support for the Americas at AUVESY-MDT. James was previously a Principal Engineer at the same company. Prior to that, they worked at General Mills as a Principal Engineer, where they provided support for controls in GMI plants and managed systems upgrades. James also led a team of engineers and implemented automation solutions. Before General Mills, James worked at Dynalogic Engineering Inc as the Refining & Chemical Controls Director, providing engineering consulting services. James also worked at Koch Industries as a Senior Engineering Architect, where they led the design of system architectures and implementation of software projects. At Koch/Flint Hills Resources, they held various roles, including Director of Refining ITS, Manager of Refining & Chemical Technical Support, and Total Plant Automation Program Director. James worked on infrastructure management, automation projects, and team management. James began their career at Amoco Chemical Corp as an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer, where they worked on instrumentation and electrical projects.

James Engelhart received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from South Dakota Mines in 1981-1984. James furthered their education at South Dakota Mines, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1985 to 1988.
