Gustavo Romero Fallas

Gustavo Romero Fallas has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Gustavo began their career at Re:Sources as an Accounts Payables and Billing Supervisor for United States Operations from June 2008 to October 2011. Gustavo then moved on to GSK, where they served as the Procure to Pay & Treasury Manager LATAM from November 2011 to July 2014, leading the transition of GSK's shared service center processes from Latin American markets to Costa Rica. Following that, they joined Bacardi as the Finance - Procure to Pay Global Operations Lead from August 2014 to July 2016, overseeing the transition of Bacardi's global processes to Costa Rica and implementing finance transformation initiatives. Currently, Gustavo is working at Auxis where they started in August 2016 as the Finance & Accounting Director and later became the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting. In their role at Auxis, Gustavo is responsible for establishing and managing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) operations for clients in Costa Rica, ensuring compliance with regulatory controls and high levels of operational performance.

Gustavo Romero Fallas holds a Master's Degree in International Trade Management from Centro Internacional de Politica Economica Para el Desarrollo Sostenible CINPE, which they obtained between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance at Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica from 2000 to 2004. Gustavo then pursued a Licenciatura in Financial Management at Universidad Nacional from 2004 to 2009. Additionally, Gustavo has a certification as a Lean expert from GlaxoSmithKline COE.
