Joe Alicata is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in product management, engineering, and strategic leadership across various media and technology companies. Currently serving as the CTO and Co-Founder of Ava since January 2025, Joe previously held the position of Chief Product & Technology Officer at Motorsport Network, where leadership was provided for product, design, and engineering efforts in the motorsport media sector. Prior roles include significant contributions at Google, where Joe managed image search experiences impacting billions of users and led strategy for Google Assistant. Joe has also served in key roles at Vox Media, ESPN, and other organizations, focusing on product development and revenue operations. With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Hartford, Joe continues to drive innovation in technology and media.
