Ava Community Energy
Allison Lopez is currently working as an Energy Efficiency Program Analyst at East Bay Community Energy. Prior to their current role, Allison held positions at companies such as Tesla and Energy Solutions, where Allison gained experience as a Project Manager. Allison also interned at the California Product Stewardship Council and the Office of Senator Mike McGuire. Allison holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy Analysis, Environmental Policy, and Sociology from the University of California, Davis.
Ava Community Energy
Ava Community Energy (Ava), formerly East Bay Community Energy (EBCE), is the local, not-for-profit electricity supplier powering Alameda County and the City of Tracy (electricity service to the Cities of Stockton and Lathrop will begin in 2025). Ava provides clean, green energy at low rates to our 640,000 customers. We reinvest earnings back into the community to create local green energy jobs, local programs, and clean power projects. Ava member cities include Albany, Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Pleasanton, San Leandro, Stockton, Tracy, and Union City. The unincorporated areas of Alameda County (including Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, San Lorenzo, and Sunol) are also served by Ava.
