Akram Ayyash

Akram Ayyash is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Treasury at Ava Labs since May 2024. Prior to this role, Akram held positions at Citadel from October 2020 to March 2024, focusing on credit portfolio finance trading and optimizing funding for an extensive range of credit instruments. Akram's earlier experience includes trading structured credit products at BNP Paribas from February 2014 to September 2020, where responsibilities involved pricing and risk management. Akram also structured CLOs and exotic credit derivatives during this time. Before entering finance, Akram worked as a Product Engineer at Chrysler Group LLC and held an engineering co-op position at DTE Energy. Akram's educational background includes a Master of Science in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and the American University of Beirut.
