Avni Guven

Avni Guven is an experienced professional in the field of ecosystem growth and business development currently serving as an Ecosystem Growth Consultant at Ava Labs since April 2021, following roles as Senior Business Development Associate and Business Development Associate. Prior experience includes work as a Researcher at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey from January 2019 to November 2020, where significant contributions were made to the development of TROY, Turkey's electronic card payment clearing system, along with conducting market research on payment systems in emerging markets. During a tenure as a Research Trainee, Avni co-authored Turkey's first research paper on central bank digital currencies, which garnered recognition at the National Blockchain Workshop. Avni Guven holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, an exchange degree in Economics from Tsinghua University, and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Applied Analytics at Columbia University.
