Vatsal Dusad

Vatsal Dusad is currently serving as Vice President at Avaana Capital since December 2023, focusing on early-stage venture capital to support entrepreneurs addressing climate change challenges. Prior to this role, Vatsal co-founded and was CEO of Blackboard Radio from April 2018 to November 2023, an edtech startup aimed at enhancing English communication skills among Indian students, successfully raising over $1 million in venture funding. Earlier experience includes various roles at Avanti Learning Centres from June 2014 to December 2016, contributing to team building across multiple verticals, and a summer internship at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in 2013, where Vatsal designed a vocational training module. Vatsal earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 2010 to 2014, having completed education at Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya, Jaipur, from 1997 to 2010.
