Nell Greenberg

Nell Greenberg currently serves as Deputy CEO and Head of Program & Strategy at Avaaz since June 2014, after previously holding the position of Campaign Director within the organization. Prior experience includes serving as Host and Producer for the environmental radio program Terra Verde at KPFA Radio from 2013 to January 2015. From 2010 to April 2014, Nell Greenberg was the Communications Director at Rainforest Action Network, where responsibilities included managing the communications and digital departments and developing strategic campaigns. Earlier experience includes serving as Communications Director at Global Exchange from 2004 to 2008, where Nell Greenberg built the organization's brand, led an independent election observation delegation, and successfully campaigned for public financing of elections in San Francisco. Nell Greenberg holds a BA in Economics, Comparative Literature, and International Development from the University of California, Berkeley.
