Manju Chatani is currently the Director for Partnerships and Capacity Strengthening at AVAC: Global Advocacy for HIV Prevention. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Program Manager at AVAC from November 2009 to December 2016. Manju's extensive experience includes being a Co-founder & Coordinator at the African Microbicides Advocacy Group and a Steering Committee Chair at the Microbicides Media and Communications Initiative. With a background in economics and math, they hold a BA from the University of Maryland and a MPH in Health Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. They also have experience working as a Case Manager at Life Foundation and co-founding Health & Development Networks.

AVAC works to accelerate the ethical development and global delivery of HIV prevention tools as part of a comprehensive and integrated response to the epidemic. Through education, policy analysis, advocacy and a network of global collaborations, we mobilize and support efforts to: * DELIVER proven HIV prevention tools for immediate impact. * DEMONSTRATE and roll out new HIV prevention options. * DEVELOP long-term solutions needed to end the epidemic.
